What to expect at Swim NODAK.

Before Your Lesson: Arrival

Please park in one of the four designated parking spots in front of our garage or front window. Enter through the front door, then access the pool area through the mudroom located just to the left of the entry.

When you arrive, please check in with our Site Manager, who will help you get settled and ready for your lesson.

Before entering the pool

• Use the restroom before class if needed.
• Use one of our changing areas to get ready.
• Store personal belongings on the hooks provided.
• Please take a quick rinse, including hair, in the shower before entering the pool. This helps us keep our pool water clean and comfortable for everyone.
• Once showered, enter the pool area and have your swimmer sit on the pool steps until their instructor greets them.

Information, reminders, and announcements will be displayed on the screen in the changing area. Our Site Manager is also available to answer questions and help with anything you may need.

During Your Lesson

Parents are always welcome to walk their swimmer into the pool area on their first day. Our goal, however, is for both you and your swimmer to become comfortable with you relaxing in the chairs on the pool deck while they participate independently in their lesson.

Hang your swimmer's towel or robe on the hooks near the pool stairs, find a comfortable seat, and relax. The transition gets easier with each lesson!

Our Site Manager will be available throughout class to answer questions and help facilitate communication between you and your swimmer's instructor.

We take the safety and quality of our lessons seriously. Our instructors are drug tested and background checked prior to hire and complete 80–100 hours of training before teaching independently. Security cameras also monitor all lessons.

We are committed to providing a safe, positive environment and the highest-quality swim instruction possible.

If your swimmer needs to use the restroom during class, please assist them to the restroom adjacent to the pool area through the changing room.

After Your Lesson

At the end of class, please meet your swimmer at the pool stairs with their towel or robe.

A large, family-friendly shower area is available for swimmers to rinse off after every lesson. Swimsuits must remain on at all times in the shower area.

Our changing room includes several private changing stalls and chairs to make getting ready before and after lessons as easy as possible. Personal belongings may be stored on the hooks in either the shower or changing area.

You're also welcome to use our blow-dry bar to dry your swimmer's hair before heading out, especially helpful during our North Dakota winters!

Before leaving, please confirm and pay for your swimmer's next lesson with our Site Manager. After payment you will receive an automated email verifying next week's class time.
